Akyra Akyra POS Built in Lebanon, for Lebanon

The whole shop,
on one system.

Sales, stock, suppliers, staff and the books — connected, so one sale updates all of them at once. Built for how business is actually done here: two currencies, exact to the cent, at the rate each sale was made.

Why shops switch

Three things that decide it

Every POS can take a payment. These are the parts that protect what you earn — and the reason owners move off a cash drawer and a notebook.

01 — THE MONEY

A figure is never wrong. Not by a cent.

Every amount is stored with the currency it was taken in and the rate that applied at that moment. Change today’s rate and last month’s invoice does not move — because it was never holding a guess in the first place.

871 lines of this system do nothing but keep money exact, and 21 test scripts check it against real data before anything ships.

Sale on 12 Mar16,020,000 LBP
Rate that day89,000
Value booked$180.00
Rate today94,500
Still booked at$180.00

The rate moved 6%. The old invoice did not. That is the whole point.

02 — WHAT YOU ARE OWED

Nothing walks out unpaid and forgotten.

Customer debts, supplier balances, and insurers or syndicates that cover part of a bill — each tracked separately, aged by how long it has been outstanding, and settled against the right invoice.

A covered sale is not a discount. The insurer’s share stays money you are owed until they actually pay it.

Invoice$180.00
Insurer 70%$126.00
Customer paid$54.00
Owed by insurer$126.00
Age31 days

You collect the full $180 — just not all of it on the same day.

03 — WHO DID WHAT

The drawer balances — or names who touched it.

Every shift opens and closes with a count in both currencies. Voids, refunds and price changes carry a name, a reason, a time — and a void needs a manager’s PIN before it happens, not after.

The owner can be out of the shop and still know, that evening, exactly what happened in it.

The real thing

Everything reachable from one screen

No buried menus. Each tile opens a part of the shop, and the number under it is how many tools sit inside.

The Akyra POS home screen, showing tiles for Open Register, Sell, Catalog, Purchasing, Suppliers, Customers, Inventory, Money, Reports, Staff and System.

An actual screen from the system, in dark mode. Arabic switches the whole interface right-to-left.

One system, three shops

It already knows your trade

Akyra ships in three modes. You pick yours at setup and the screens change to match — no paying for a restaurant module you will never open.

Optical

Built for eyewear shops, down to the lab workflow.

  • Prescriptions & patient files
  • Job orders with lab tracking
  • Deposits and instalments
  • Insurer / syndicate billing

Retail

Counter sales with real stock control behind them.

  • Barcodes & multi-unit packs
  • Multi-warehouse stock
  • Batch, expiry & FIFO/FEFO
  • Purchase orders & suppliers

Restaurant

Tables, kitchen and delivery on one screen.

  • Table plan & dine-in orders
  • Kitchen display screen
  • Recipes & ingredient stock
  • Drivers & delivery
Also included

The rest of the day, handled

Sell a pair of glasses and the stock drops, the cost is booked, the insurer is invoiced and the drawer knows — one action, not four screens.

Dual-currency everywhere

Prices, payments, refunds and debts each keep their own rate stamp.

Customer & supplier credit

Who owes you, who you owe, and how old each debt is.

Stock that stays honest

Multi-warehouse counts, transfers, adjustments and a full movement trail.

Reports you can act on

End-of-day summary, profit, top products, slow movers, expiring stock.

Full accounting built in

Chart of accounts, journal entries, trial balance, P&L and balance sheet.

Staff & attendance

Shifts, hours, salaries and payments — each in the worker’s own currency.

Arabic, properly

The whole interface, receipts included — not a half-translated menu.

Every change is logged

Voids, refunds and price edits carry a name, a reason and a time.

Also included

Things a cash register cannot do

Where most systems stop, this keeps going — the parts that decide whether a shop makes money, not just whether it can take payment.

An assistant that reads your data

Ask it in plain words what sold, what is slow, what is running out — it answers from your own figures.

Expiry prediction

Compares each batch against how fast it actually sells, and warns you before it expires on the shelf.

Reorder strategies

Fixed point, Min-Max or EOQ — the system works out what to order and how much.

Backups that run themselves

A full copy every day, kept automatically, and restored from the settings screen when you need it.

Consignment stock

Goods you hold but have not bought yet — the debt builds only as they sell.

Many tills, many printers

Each terminal keeps its own drawer and shift; kitchen and counter printers route on their own.

Stock counts & adjustments

Print a counting sheet, enter what you found, and the difference is recorded with a reason.

Licensed to your machine

The software is tied to your hardware, so a copy cannot walk out of the shop.
